2ND TRIP TO BKK,PHITSANULOK,PATTAYA - APRIL '08

The very first waterfall. Honestly, i wouldnt dare to step into the waters. Much more, to swim. Look how muddy the water is ?! *Holy mama..

Finally am going downhill..

It was never easy for me to climb up the moutains, just to see the waterfalls. There were in total 7. But lol Ah Lau stopped at the 4th one. Left me and Uncle Lim, last 2 standing. We struggled all the way up to see the 5th one untill we noticed Ah Lau is missing. We then decided to head back to look for him. *Phew.. Seriously Hectic. Four times the energy used to climb Singapore's Bt timah hill. No kidding.

Alrighty, time for some reflections on this trip. Wad can i say? Hm, overall i really enjoyed myself during that 9days. First 3days spent at Bangkok itself already very shiok. Endless shopping. And i really mean ENDLESS. I spend almost all of money there.

On the 4th day, we took a cab down to Phitsanulok - another part of Thailand. Not many will come to know about this place. Hmm, nothing much over there. Just a very small district. Entertainment and shopping centres needless to say, Limited of cus. Reason why we went there was to attend a fren's wedding. And did i mention how long was the journey from Bangkok to Phitsanulok? 5hrs for goodness sake. Power. Sight-seeing cum excursion for me. Went mountain climbing and as i mentioned above, tiring. Visited Ah Lau's place. It was some village futher off Phitsanulok, about a 2hrs drive down. *Faint. I need to complaint abit here. I tell you, his place have got no air-con. When i first step into his room, i felt slight burning sensation. Super stuffy and hot. Even with the fan on, the air is warm. *Jesus christ. If i were to be put there for a week, i think i'll die. No need 1week. I think 1-2days enough. Attended their wedding on the 5th day. Simple yet fun (=

On the 7th day, we took a plane back to Bangkok, off to Pattaya by cab. Another 2hrs journey. Wad can i say about Pattaya? Suitable for men. With all the Ah gogo shows, strip dancing bars and stuffs. Shopping centres limited also. I sweared to Uncle Lim that im not going to do any water sports cause 我怕死. He diedie want me to try the jet ski with him. And so i threw away the phobia and off i go. Lucky thing i tried. Super thrilling and fun.

8th day, we went to the island. We tried shooting. I was utterly disappointed with myself. We paid for some "walking under the sea" thing for $150 per pax. Something similar to diving. Only difference was : swimming is redundant. You just have to put on that oxygen mask and get your ass down the boat. Climb down the ladder, and go deep down into the waters to witness the magnificient underwater world. Due to deep water phobia, i threw temper at everyone and i gave up the thought of going down.

Planning for another trip to Thailand by end of June.
